So as I've posted before I recently listed my project RSTi for sale. and I've had a few offers for trades so far, and just got one I'm fairly interested in it just wondering if it's a good trade. It's an 85 Ford ranger with a few mods on it the specs the guy gave me are as follows: T5 5 speed 4x4 60 over dome top pistons eagle crank t4 turbo 42 lbs injecters 20 lbs boost 236 rwhp at 5k rpm with 6000 miles on the motor. I'll probably need to see it in person to make a final decision on it but wanted to get some opinions as well if it would be worth it.

T5 to a 4x4? Shit that...that sounds really fun. Tq/ft? 236 rwhp seems low for 20 pounds, i'm assuming torque's where it shines

Yeah I love mine too but i just don't have the time to finish it, and its been two years since I started it. I just don't want to see it rot away.

Not bad at all, really. That I4 was only good for about 70hp from the factory.

Yup, which us back to why I hate Foxbodies...
You have to remember the era, the tech and America turning out crap product after underwhelming crap product... Oh, right. The Foxbodies, besides looking like the Tempo the 5.0 V8 was only good for about 200hp. And from memory the v6 S10 was 96hp (Ranger would be pretty close).
They were tuned for torque, but we aren't talking 72/500 here...

And still has it, by the looks of things. Figure by the time I'm out of college all these great cars will be good and used (affordable), then I can start bashing them in
